I fell in love too fast

I should have held back

It's just that he showed me a certain type

of majesty, royalty...I mean...

Look at me ... I am regal.

It was something I never felt before

The warm felling of being special

Treated as a precious gem

It felt so becoming of me.

But I should have held back

I fell in love way too fast

He didn't fall in love with

only wanted my gems.

I let him borrow and hold my jewels

on several occasions.

He returned only a few.

Just unappreciative.

I should have held back.

I fell in love too fast.

Oh,  he loves me now though

Now that I have a better grasp and understanding

of how precious my gems are...

Scratching my kinky mane beneath my crown... pondering...

Why he fell in love way too slow

He should hold back.
