Treated myself to a small getaway. Sitting in a small quirky Harlem coffee café. Simply spending quality time with me. Getting away in my mind to think about all the important things in life
People watching through the window seat as people walk by with worried faces as if they are late to their destinations. I notice some people simply look oppressed. Rarely did I see a smiling face walk by my window. It was a nice clear fall day in October, colorful leaves on the trees yet warm and sunny for this time of year. Don't understand why no happy faces or at least cheerful demeanor. I don't want this type of demeanor for myself, which is why I take time to myself from time to time just to relax, re-think and re-focus on what really matters in my life.
Every moment is special, even the little moments in life are big to me. For example sitting here writing about my appreciation for small quaint coffee shops with delicious pastries and yummy coffee in cute plain white cups and silver cream holder, miniature sugar bowls and lava lamps all for under $8.
Yes, these are moment I treasure. Just to have time to myself looking through coffee shop windows and overhearing conversations, fall foliage, even on a busy street in Harlem is beautiful to me.
I do realize I will regret eating 2 pastries tomorrow, but in the name of my quality time..... YOLO

So, on this warm Autumn day... Budgeting is on my mind. Questions of how I can make more money and spend less. possibly restarting my hobby of making Soy candles that everyone loved so much, possibly body butters and sugar scrubs that I love. I think about Apt 3C and all the improvements that are needed on a budget, along with other rolling monthly bills.
in order to get ahead, I need a plan. AGAIN!
I claim my goals as done! with the help of "to do list" and more focusing and researching ways to save and make more. I will set my goals and get it done!
