Good Morning my good people!
I hope your Friday is starting off fantastic!
I wanted to take this time to share with you my brunch date the other day.....Wait....Correction...
I didn't have an actual date.
However, I treated myself to brunch.
A friend, of mine aka "M" mentioned this place.
While casually talking at work. I told her I have a new interest in herbal tea's and so.... she recommended this cute little place, on the west side of Manhattan, called
She also told me, they make the best scones in the world
Honestly, and personally....I don't really like scones, I find the taste of a scone dry and boring.
however she raved about them so much,
I thought maybe "Alice's Tea Cup" can change my mind, and possibly make me a believer in the dry, boring, taste like cardboard, scratch my throat, somebody pass me a gallon of milk......cough... cough.... scone. ehhhh
but more importantly I just wanted to try their Herbal Tea's
and enjoy some quiet time to myself.
and I did just that.....

It was delicious!
Behind the counter.... pastries.. and a variety of Herbal Teas... sold by the ounce.
Pumpkin Scones
They were drizzled with Icing..
They looked Yummy
But I didn't get a chance to taste one
Next time I will give one a try..
I ordered...Poached Eggs with butter milk bisquits topped with hollandaise sauce
and potatoes with ham
Things to buy... Steeping Pots
Tea sets
I enjoyed the food, inexpensive prices, friendly service and decor
Great place to go for a nice weekend brunch....
