Did you know that our skin reveals what and how we eat? Its true! Dry, dull looking skin is a tell all sign that we are eating too much junk and not enough foods enriched with vitamins and minerals. I confess, I am guilty! I am that kid with my hand caught in the cookie jar. I love sweet foods, and not everything I eat is healthy.
I am not a skincare expert, but just like everyone who want healthy, glowing skin, I started to do some of my own research to find out how I can accomplish healthier looking skin naturally. I found alot of great foods that will infuse us with the right vitamins and will help clear and tighten our skin. Here are 5 delicious foods that will help our skin naturally.
Mangoes - filled with vitamin A which repairs skin cells.
Lack of vitamin A results in a dry flaky complextion.
Avacados - Filled with essential oils and vitamin B, B3- Niacin, which norishes the skin, and helps to tighten our skin, soothes irritated skin and works as an anti-inflammatory. Good to eat and works wonders as an avacado moisturizing skin mask.
Almonds - Vitamin E oils, moisturize you skin beautifully! So Its okay to get Nutty!
Cherries - Vitamin C works as an antioxidont, fights pimples, and skin damage.
Oysters - are more than an aphodisiac, but they also make love to our skin. This one really suprised me! who knew that oysters help fight pimples because they are high in Zinc.. Wow! Lets go Oysters!
So, there we have it! Five food amongst many that can help us have a better complextion, and healthier looking skin. I am personally going to add one of these into my menu this week, perferrably, almonds and mangoes.
